Special thanks go to the jury panel for the recognition, our client for their continuous support, and congratulations to our multi-disciplinary team for this collective success.

Winning Projects:

Foshan Retail Mall
Gold Winner | Architecture – Retail, Concept & Unbuilt

The 80,000sqm retail complex acts as an anchor of the mixed-use development with two underground retail levels and four stories of retail above ground. The concept of “A Chill City Park” aims to provide a new urban experiential retail destination in central Foshan and the design introduces a multi-level green spine to connect all the major nodes of the site.

CAN is delivering the architectural design and retail planning for the development. Benefiting from a transit-oriented approach, Foshan Retail Mall is set to become a high-profile retail destination that offer a first-of-its-kind living experience in the city. The multi-level retail development blends experiential design and public spaces that respond to Foshan’s sustainability initiatives.

Wide Horizon Chongqing TOD
Gold Winner | Architecture – Mixed-use, Concept & Unbuilt

CAN is delivering masterplanning and architectural design for Chongqing Wide Horizon TOD Development. A world-class integrated masterplan within a sustainable environment, the development will be an exemplary new cityscape, combining mixed-use within a matrix of landscaped, walkable, and connected public areas, where people can live, work, and relax.

The design creates an iconic ‘Gateway’ in the new Chongqing Yuelai District. Through a series of connecting rings, the design aims to create a sequential journey that connects visitors through the precinct retail, F&B market, shopping mall, and office. The well-designed holistic masterplan brings people together around culture, nature, and the arts, functioning as a nexus between the various nodes of the city.

Both CAN’s projects will compete for the Platinum Winner, Grand Winner and Award of the Year titles which will be revealed during the Galas in Montreal on 12 October 2022. Stay tuned for further updates!
