CAN’s TOD design is evolving and has transformed over time. Gary showcased various projects that promote sustainability, mass transit and community in the region, demonstrating the integration of retail within TOD is a key contributing factor to placemaking.

“TODs create new ways to integrate commercial, residential, educational and amenity programs around the transit hubs. Based on the principles of sustainability and humancentric design, we create multi dimensional TODs not only serve as functional transitional spaces, but also public places to improve the urban vitality of a city and expand for years to come, ” said Gary.
