Don’t we all look forward to Fridays? This is especially so for our colleagues at CAN – Fridays are when we all get to take a pause and connect over sharing sessions (and of course, a few drinks 🍻).

Apart from exchanging ideas amongst ourselves, we strive to stay current and relevant by inviting guests to our home base for extensive discussions on industry-related topics.

A privilege to host
a panel discussion with Cundall

Few months back, we had the privilege to hear from Cundall’s key leaders in Hong Kong / Shanghai and to host a panel discussion joined by some of our CAN directors. Founded in UK 40 years ago, Cundall currently has offices over 20 nations across the globe, providing building engineering consultancy service with a focus on sustainability.

Joe Tang (Director – MEP), Dong Chen (Director – Structures), Iris Chan (Associate Director – Shanghai) and Jonathan Yau (Associate Director – Sustainability) not only got us up to date with their projects but imparted valuable insights on smart buildings, AI, structural optimisation and methodologies for net-zero carbon.

Our TGIF session with Cundall was incredibly rewarding! The exchange of ideas helped us see the bigger picture, allowing us to approach
our projects in a whole new way.
Although presented with similar challenges in the industry, we are encouraged that we can work alongside likeminded consultants and leverage from one another’s expertise to make this world a better place to live, work, play and dwell.
