CAN is honored to announce the firm’s new appointment as the Lead Architect by Chengdu Wide Horizon Investment Group for the hightly-anticipated Chongqing Yuelai TOD project.

The project is located in Chongqing Yuelai Area, where would be developed as the new CBD to relieve the pressure of the high density of the city centre and expand Chongqing’s planning layout. Responsible for the first of the development areas, CAN’s designs will create an iconic ‘Gateway’ into the new city. A world class integrated masterplan within a sustainable environment, Chongqing Yuelai will be an exemplary new cityscape, combining mixed-use within a matrix of landscaped, walkable and connected public areas, where people can live, work and relax.

The challenge of combining accessibility and an attractive, ever evolving environment in the vibrant city of Chongqing is the embodiment of CAN’s own mission: to combine Culture, Art and Nature.
